Official shuttle buses run 7:00-8:00 AM before the race, transporting participants to the starting zone,

and 11:30 AM-3:00 PM after the race from the park back to Rotunda da Boavista (reachable by Metro Lines A/B/C/E/F at Casa da Musica or Francos stations).

Plan to reach Rotunda da Boavista by metro/taxi first, then take the official shuttle onward.

Metro do Porto runs a tap-to-pay pilot: you can tap a Visa or Mastercard contactless card/phone directly at the validator with no Andante card needed,

capped around €7.75/day for 4+ journeys —

but this currently only works at a limited set of stations (including the airport), not the whole network, so check before relying on it citywide.

The old Porto.CARD (transit + museums bundle) has been discontinued/restructured in 2026, so the Andante Tour Card is the main tourist option now.
