The entire course lies within a roughly 1,000-mu wetland park, of which 60% is water, home to more than 380 plant species.

Getting to the start

Shuanglong Lake Wetland Park, near Laoda Bridge off the Xingzhong Road extension in Tai'erzhuang district

Zaozhuang has no metro system, so access to Shuanglong Lake Wetland Park is by local bus, taxi, or a ride-hailing app such as Didi. Zaozhuang city buses generally accept a rechargeable local transit card (available at bus company kiosks) or WeChat/Alipay QR payment onboard; foreign bank cards typically do not work directly.

Given the wetland park's distance from the city center, taxi or Didi is the most practical option for visiting runners.
