세계 최대 규모의 마라톤. 5만 명이 넘는 러너가 스타튼아일랜드에서 출발해 뉴욕의 5개 자치구를 모두 밟고 센트럴파크에 골인한다. 기안84가 나 혼자 산다에서 4시간 48분에 완주하며 국내 러너들에게도 화제가 된 바로 그 대회 — 세계 6대 메이저의 대미를 장식하는 11월의 축제다. 2026년 대회는 11월 1일(일).
