Start line is located in Woodland Park, Colorado.
Runners climb along Lovell Gulch to the summit of Rampart Range Road, then enter singletrack encircling Rampart Reservoir.
During the southbound section on Rampart Range Road, 50K participants have views of Pikes Peak.
The event offers two distances: 50K and 10K.

Cutoff
Dam (15.3 miles) 11:30, Rampart Ridge (19.8 miles) 13:30 crossing deadline.
Course starts in Woodland Park and climbs through Lovell Gulch to the summit of Rampart Range Road.
From the summit, 50K participants head south along Rampart Range Road, with views of Pikes Peak along the way.
They then follow the singletrack around Rampart Reservoir counterclockwise before connecting to the lightly trafficked 700.A National Forest Trail.
From there, the route heads north along quiet National Forest roads.
The final section descends the latter part of the Lovell Gulch Loop before entering Woodland Park Middle School finish.
The organizers state that the event is held subject to permit approval from the Pike National Forest.
The fastest times published on the registration page are 4:31:23 for men (Chase Smith, 2025) and 5:00:54 for women (Madeline Wiegart, 2025).

The race starts and finishes on the track at Merit Academy. No public transit in this mountain town; car access and on-site parking only.

Merit Academy has ample parking and attendants.

The race finishes on the Merit Academy track, the same location as the start.
Woodland Park, Colorado is a rural mountain town near Colorado Springs with no dedicated transit card system. The race venue requires car access; no IC card is relevant.

The 2026 event will take place on Saturday, October 3.
The 50K starts at 7:30 AM, and the 10K starts at 8:00 AM.
The start-line address is 600 E. Kelley's Rd.
Registration closes on Wednesday, September 30, at 11:59 PM (Mountain Time).
Entry fee costs $165 for the 50K and $80 for the 10K;
including taxes and fees, the totals are $179.22 and $87.50, respectively.
Woodland Park's average October precipitation is 30 mm.
The wettest months are July at 83 mm and August at 81 mm.
