Getting to the start

People Mover Downtown Transit Center (6th Ave & H St)

Start/finish area is 6th Avenue between F and G Street in downtown Anchorage, adjacent to Humpy's Alehouse. The People Mover Downtown Transit Center is about 1–2 blocks away and serves ten bus routes.

Post-race festivities are at Town Square Park, also within a short walk of the Downtown Transit Center.

Anchorage's public bus system, People Mover, is paid with cash or a paper day pass at the farebox; there is no widely used rechargeable smart card or tap-to-pay bank card option. Most visitors for Anchorage RunFest will find a rental car more practical for reaching race venues around the city and Kincaid Park.
