Start is on Eastbourne seafront in Meads (western end of the seafront). Southern Railway serves Eastbourne from London Victoria.
Local buses 3 or 3A run every 15-20 minutes from opposite the train station and drop near the start of the South Downs Way, ~2 minutes from race registration. Confirmed date October 24, 2026 (10K), with the wider marathon weekend running 24-25 Oct 2026.

Each distance can close before race day once its entry limit is reached, so entering early is advisable.
Late October on England’s south coast is often cool, with showers possible.
Course includes 300 stairs, 14 gates and 1,318m of total elevation gain, so allow plenty of time to finish.
