Getting to the start

No public transit serves this venue; a rural recreation area on Lake Travis reached only by car.

Start/finish at Turkey Bend Recreation Area, 4000 Shaw Dr, Marble Falls, TX 78654. The 50 Miler uses four 10.41-mile laps of a 'Big Loop' plus laps of a riverfront 2.1-mile circuit for the finish stretch; other distances use portions of the same loop system from the same venue. Organized by Fit Foundation.

The Bluebonnet Trail Run takes place at Turkey Bend Recreation Area near Marble Falls and is a trail event offering a wide range of distances in one location,

from the 50-Miler to the 50K, Marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids 2K.

Hosted by the nonprofit Fit Foundation, the event's proceeds are reportedly used to fund HKRS Cedar Park's spring and fall youth running programs,

equipment, and support for low-income families Entry fee.

Finishers receive a handcrafted wooden finisher medal engraved with a bluebonnet, the Texas state flower, and on-site camping is available by reservation.
