Berea in August averages 24°C—neither hot nor cold for running.
The sun grows stronger toward midday, so a light layer to shed before the start is all that is needed.
Public transportation does not reach the venue.
A private car or rental car is the only practical way to get there.

Full marathon truly begins after 30km.
Passing halfway 5~10 seconds slower than the target pace makes it easier to hold the pace late in the race,
and gels should be taken early, before hunger sets in.
