The 2026 "Zhongshi·Yipin" Chilechuan Grassland half marathon Competition is scheduled to start at 8:00 on August 23 (Sunday) at Chilechuan Grassland, Xincheng District, Hohhot City. The competition scale is 6,000 people, with half marathon (2 1.0975 kilometers) a project; pre-registration and payment will be open from 8:00 on July 8 to 18:00 on July 15. The lottery results will be announced on July 22, and the registration fee will be fully refunded to the winning candidates. At the foot of Daqing Mountain, tens of thousands of acres of grassland spread to the horizon like a green velvet carpet. This is the "city grassland" - Chilechuan Grassland, only half an hour's drive from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. "The sky is blue, the fields are vast, and the wind blows the grass and you can see the cattle and sheep." The thousand-year poetry here is not a distant imagination, but a reality that is within reach. Cross the grassland course and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Chile! The starting point of the event is still located at the Cultural and Sports Center of Inner Mongolia Ethnic Minorities, connecting the hinterland of the Chilechuan Grassland and landmark buildings all the way. August is the flowering period of the grassland, with Gesang flowers and Malan flowers blooming.
