About 富锦半程马拉松 — what makes it special

ABOUT THE RACE

A day you'll remember,
long past the finish line.

This is half marathon in Fujin, Heilongjiang,

known as the “Granary of the North.” Starting from the city government square in this plain city on the lower Songhua River,

the route runs through streets in the late summer as the rice fields ripen.

It is a flat race through the cool August weather of northeastern China’s rice-growing region.
