Hosted by the Sacramento Running Association (SRA), it is a 26.2-mile point-to-point course that starts near Folsom Dam and continues all the way to the Sacramento State Capitol. The official website introduces 'The Fastest Course in the West', '#1 Boston Qualifier', and one of the top 10 marathons in the United States. It departs at 7 a.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2026, and all registration tiers are sold out early, so participation is currently only possible through relay registration or official transfer (starting on October 1).
