The race is scheduled to take place on October 25 at the Shanghu Scenic Area in Changshu, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.

The only event is half marathon (21.0975 km).

It is a national 5A-rated scenic area and urban wetland park;

seen from above, the lake is shaped like a butterfly.

Road outside parking lot No. 1, Shanghu Scenic Area, Changshu City

Half marathon course starts on Taigong Road (太公路, near the visitor center), passes through Water Street,

crosses the causeway spanning the lake, goes through Jinxiu Garden,

loops around the East Lakeside section, crosses the causeway again,

and then follows the West Lakeside section before finishing on the road beside Shanghu Scenic Area Parking Lot No. 1.

The separately organized approximately 11 km fitness run course starts at the same point,

follows the course only as far as the East Lakeside section, and finishes at Fushui Causeway (拂水堤).

Field size: 12,000 participants
Typical race-season temperature: around 18°C (65°F): Short sleeves — hydrate for the warmth

Getting to the start

No metro in Changshu. Start is at the Shanghu (尚湖) Scenic Area entrance near the visitor center, Changshu, Suzhou, Jiangsu

From Changshu Railway Station, take a taxi, or transfer to city bus 2/101/104/105/111 to 'Shanghu Central Garden' stop, then bus line 116 direct to the scenic area gate. Direct buses 116, 117, or 125 also run from the Changshu long-distance bus station.

If applications exceed the capacity, participants are selected by lottery.
