Jinxiu Zhou Square, Fuling District, Chongqing

Course starts at Jinxiu Zhou Square, follows the Yangtze River and Wujiang River waterfronts,

and passes the White Crane Ridge Museum, Changpu Street Old Town, and Fuling Yangtze River Bridge.

The total elevation gain is approximately 50 m, making the course gently rolling, and it is broadly flat overall, with turnarounds at two points along course.

Both the start and finish are at Jinxiu Zhou Square.

Getting to the start

Start and finish are both at Jinxiu Zhou Square in Fuling District, Chongqing, per the official race page. Per official site directly: 'no metro currently'; a planned Chongqing–Fuling intercity/metropolitan rail is under development but not yet operational.

Nearest transit access: Fuling North Station and Fuling Station, served by the Yuwan intercity high-speed rail; approx. 1 hour drive from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

Two official documents linked via WeChat were blocked and could not be accessed to confirm 2026-specific shuttle pickup points/schedule.

Getting to the finish

Same as start — Jinxiu Zhou Square serves as both start and finish.

Road closures

Access to Fulingbei Station/Fuling Station by the Yuwan and Yuli high-speed railways, about 1 hour from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport, no subway

Start shuttle

A 2023-edition secondary source mentioned the organizing committee provided shuttle transport between Chongqing's main urban area and the venue for that year's race — not verified for 2026.

Transit card

Fuling District is included in Chongqing's citywide Jiaotong Lianhe transit-union IC card network, so a standard Chongqing transit card works on local buses here, purchasable/upgradable at service centers like the Fuling Administrative Service Center. Buses can also be paid via QR code in the Yutong App; there is no metro or light rail reaching Fuling itself.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

Fuling District in November — the average temperature is 11°C, so conditions are chilly.

Your fingers and ears will feel the cold first, so bring gloves and a beanie, and wear several thin layers on your torso so you can take them off while running.

When you apply, you must submit two records showing that you completed a distance of at least 10 km within the 24 months before the registration deadline.

The field is limited to 10,000 runners.

Half marathon comes down to how well you hold back over the opening 5 km.

If you get swept up in the crowd immediately after the start and increase your pace, you will pay for it at 15 km mark.
