Full marathon starts at Rongchang People's Square,

follows Yingbin Avenue (迎賓大道, Provincial Road S310) and Changlong Avenue, and heads to the Laixi River waterfront.

It passes through the Laixi River Sports and Cultural Park, Haitang Bridge,

and the Xinfeng River Zhujiazui Bridge, before returning to People's Square via Yingbin Avenue.

Course is described as a 'waterfront marathon scenic course' passing local attractions such as the China Ramie Town and Wanling Fudi,

with half marathon centered on sections along the Laixi River.

Field size: Full marathon: 4,000 runners · half marathon: 6,000 runners

Getting to the start

Rongchang has no subway; Rongchang North station (Chengdu-Chongqing HSR) reaches central Chongqing in ~23 minutes. Local buses cover main attractions/square from the station.

Most foreign runners would need a taxi/car or local bus from Rongchang North HSR station.

Getting to the finish

Both full and half marathon start/finish at the same square.

Start shuttle

No dedicated race shuttle documented; local bus network is the fallback for the 'last mile' from Rongchang North station.

Course follows the gently rolling banks of the Laixi River and is introduced as a course well suited to going for a personal best.

Along the half marathon course, there are more than 20 cheering points and 6 aid stations offering luoe (鹵鵝, smoked goose), a local specialty of Rongchang.
