Starting and finishing at Fenjin Square, it is a single-event race, with the riverside countryside forming the backdrop to course.

True to its name, “Riverside Countryside,” it is a riverside-village half marathon away from urban noise.

Held as a single half marathon (半程/Half Marathon) event.

It is a China Athletics Association (CAA) Class C certified race hosted by the Tongnan District People's Government.

Based on previous editions, both the start and finish are at Fenjin Square in Tongnan District,

and the course is an out-and-back course along Binjiang Road, which runs alongside the Fu River.

Grade: CAA Grade C

Getting to the start

Start/finish is 奋进广场 (Fenjin Square) in Tongnan District, Chongqing (per prior editions). Tongnan is ~90km from central Chongqing with no metro connection; there is a Tongnan railway station on the Chongqing–Suining/Chengdu-Chongqing corridor, but no confirmed bus route or distance data from that station to Fenjin Square was found.

Practically, foreign runners should plan on taxi/private car/rideshare (didi) from Chongqing city or Tongnan station. City confirmed as Tongnan District (潼南区), Chongqing.

Getting to the finish

Same as start (奋进广场, an out-and-back style course along 涪江/滨江路).

Tongnan District is about 90km from downtown Chongqing and is not reached by the metro.

Tongnan Railway Station is on the Chongqing-Suining (Chengyu) line,

but no information has been confirmed on a bus route or distance from that station to Fenjin Square.

There is also no information on an organizer-run shuttle bus,

so plans should assume travel from downtown Chongqing or Tongnan Station by taxi, personal car, or Didi ride-hailing.
