Palo Duro Canyon, where the competition is held,

is a canyon area called the ‘Grand Canyon of Texas.’ There is an elevation difference from approximately 1,040 m (3,412 ft) above sea level at the ridge to approximately 762 m (2,500 ft) at the bottom of the canyon,

so you must be prepared for significant ups and downs depending on the event.

The road surface is a mixture of sand, sandstone, red soil, gravel, and clay, so the conditions under your feet change in each section.

To receive a commemorative t-shirt, you must register by September 4th.
