The Corrida de Thiais starts at the sports complex on Place Vincent van Gogh and finishes at Stade Jacques Baudequin.
Organized by the City of Thiais and the race team, the event includes 10 km, 5 km, and a 1.5 km race for children.
Its format brings adult racing and short-distance running for children together at one venue.
The 10 km course is officially measured and held in accordance with French road-race regulations.
Runners chasing a time can have their ranking recorded based on their actual running time.
The children’s 1.5 km consists of one lap and takes place on a course with traffic control in place.
The long and short events are separated so participants can take part according to their age and chosen distance.
The 5 km and 10 km races also include awards for para-sport categories.
The official website states that the event supports an organization helping sick children.
It also includes an inter-school competition for Thiais primary schools and a challenge category for large groups,
highlighting participation by schools and organizations in addition to individual rankings.
The event continues to award participants who finish in costume.
Alongside official timing and distance competition, it adds a festival atmosphere where children, schools, groups, and costumed participants come together.
The finish leads to the stadium at the same address as the square, making the local sports complex the central venue for the race.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

According to the available information, collection is available on Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM,
while race-day collection is not available.
Instead of a standard medical certificate,
participants may submit the French Athletics Federation’s three-month-valid health clearance, Parcours Prévention Santé (PPS).
However, sources disagree on the actual race date.
Some list Sunday,
December 6, while promotional material states “December 7, 2026.” Considering the Friday and Saturday collection schedule and the statement that collection is unavailable on race day (Sunday),
