THE DREAM
Started in 1987, marking summer's end and fall's beginning in a small mountain town.
Run the Colorado San Juan range with events 2 miles, 12 miles, 22 miles, 50K.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I ran the 12-mile race in Creede a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience!”Hannah Hartzell tackled steep climbs and descents on the Creede Mountain Run's 12-mile course and enjoyed the relaxed feel of a small-town race. A lack of signs just before finish caused some confusion, but they described the overall experience as enjoyable.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
Preview the course and read what runners who went before you wrote.
