Bring a throwaway layer or a heat-sheet to wear while waiting at the start, and dress light for the run.
Since the race goes up to the half marathon, hold back and start the first 5 km slower than your goal pace;
the key is holding your pace after 15 km.
Daejeon is famous nationwide for Seongsimdang bakery.
Hanbat Arboretum and Expo Science Park are also worth a visit.
