This race is one leg of a series organized by Uptown Gentle Friends,

spread across several months and covering a total of 66 miles along the Delaware River on both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania sides.

It's a non-competitive format focused on finishing at each runner's own pace rather than competing for place, and there is no time limit.

Course follows the towpaths of the Delaware and Raritan Canal on the New Jersey side and the Delaware Canal on the Pennsylvania side.

Runners who can't make the scheduled date are also allowed to complete the leg on their own.
