ABOUT THE RACE

A day you'll remember,
long past the finish line.

The course is a flat, two-mile loop course on the Bonneville Salt Flats, known as one of the world's fastest driving surfaces.

From around sunset until dawn, for roughly 11 hours, solo runners or teams of four, six or eight compete to cover the greatest distance.

The race takes place overnight under the stars, on the salt.

Getting to the start

None - no public transit serves the venue

Race is on the Bonneville Salt Flats, Bonneville Speedway Road, Wendover, UT; 2-mile looped course, event runs overnight from sunset to sunrise. Extremely remote desert salt-flats venue with no public transit whatsoever; car access only via I-80 near Wendover.

Travel by private car via I-80 into Wendover is required, and no organizer shuttle has been confirmed.

The race is an overnight run across the salt flats for approximately 11 hours, from sunset to sunrise.

Registration closes on September 1, 2026, and after July 25, 2026, Entry fee costs $165 for the Ultra,

$140 for the 4-person relay, $130 for the 6-person relay, and $115 for the 8-person relay.
