Getting to the start

Mueller Park Trailhead, 2083 Mueller Park Rd, Bountiful, UT (50K starts at the Holbrook Canyon trailhead, reached via the Mueller Park access road)

No public transit;

car access only.

Per secondary sources (race listing aggregators, not the official race site),

parking is limited at the first trailhead on Mueller Park Road near the bridge over the creek, just before the Forest Service fee gates —

described 'per web search, not from official site' since no dedicated official race site was found beyond registration/listing pages.

No standalone official race website found (only UltraSignup registration page and race-listing aggregators).

Location/access details are labeled per web-search/secondary sources, not from an official site.

Getting to the finish

Same trailhead area — Mueller Park / Holbrook Canyon trailhead, Bountiful, UT

Out-and-back format courses finish back at the trailhead, per secondary sources.

Stations & transport near the venue

Elephant Rock Trail Run is held in Bountiful, UT, just north of Salt Lake City,

which is served by Utah Transit Authority (UTA) using the reloadable FAREPAY card or contactless bank card tap-to-pay on buses/TRAX;

single ride fare is around $2.50.

However, the trailhead itself is a car-access foothills park, so a vehicle or rideshare is needed for the final approach.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

The race venue, Mueller Park Trailhead, is about a 30-minute drive from Salt Lake City.

There is no public transportation, so you will need to drive.

The 50K starts separately from the Holbrook Canyon Trailhead, so confirm the start location for your event.

With a 5:30 a.m. start, a headlamp is required.

Because the course runs out and back through the canyon, an pace strategy that clears the climbs before the daytime heat builds is advantageous.

Registration is handled through UltraSignup.
