Off-road running course approximately 80 ft of elevation change per lap, with forest and field sections
Fifth Street Cross Summer Camp is a three-day multisport camp-style event at Kempton Community Center in Kempton, Pennsylvania.
Originally, Fifth Street Cross hosted weekly Thursday night cyclocross races in Emmaus, PA, expanding this summer season to Kempton for a camp format.
This being the second edition, participants stay in one location for three days combining running, cyclocross, and gravel riding.
Schedule begins Friday evening with 5K-level trail running and cyclocross races,
continues Saturday with 100-mile/100km/22-mile gravel ride options and the 'Sundown Rundown' trail race at dusk,
and features camping, live music, food trucks, and film screenings.
Offroad running course winds through forests and fields surrounding the center, featuring gentle approximately 80-foot climbs per lap.
The atmosphere leans toward festival with runners and riders camping together rather than competition.
Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.

Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The Summer Camp takes place over two days, Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, check-in starts at 6:00 PM, followed by a 5K-style run at 7:00 PM.
After check-in from 6:00 to 7:45 PM, a cyclocross race starts at 8:00 PM.
Saturday features a gravel ride, with a choice of 100 miles, 100K or 22 miles, with check-in at 7:00 AM and an 8:00 AM start,
followed by the Sundown Rundown trail race, with check-in at 2:00 PM and a 3:00 PM start.
On-site camping is included, so it is a good idea to bring camping gear such as a tent and sleeping bag.
Since some events take place after sunset, a headlamp is also recommended for safety.
Registration is handled through BikeSignup,
and Friday- and Saturday-only passes appear to be available in addition to the full package (check the official registration page for the exact Entry fee).
The off-road running sections are relatively gentle, but the unpaved forest and field surfaces make trail running shoes recommended.
Times are local to Kempton. Check the latest official information before the race.
