This course starts on Hukeng Tulou Folk Street, passes through World Heritage tulou villages including Chengqi Tower and Zhencheng Tower, turns around at the limestone pit and returns.

The race course runs through the dense cluster of Yongding tulou (earthen buildings), a UNESCO World Heritage site.

It passes the Hongkeng Folk Culture Village near the starting point, then successively passes in front of Zhenchenglou and Chengqilou,

the tulou representative of the area, and course also includes a tulou valley with pristine ecology and a persimmon grove.

A mix of gentle mountain paths and village lanes gives it a different feel from a flat-road marathon.

Getting to the start

According to the prior edition (2025), the race starts within the Fujian Tulou–Yongding Scenic Area and passes through Tulou Wangzi, the Gaobei Tulou cluster, and Zhencheng Lou. There is no rail station within the scenic area itself.

The 2026-11-22 race date has been confirmed through Fujian Province's published 2026 marathon calendar.

Likely the same scenic-area venue as the start, following the pattern of the prior edition.

No organizer race-day shuttle confirmed for 2026, but general public transit exists: from Longyan EMU/high-speed station, local bus to Longyan Old Bus Station, then a direct bus to the Tulou area (~2 hrs).

About 5,000 runners took part in the previous year's 2025 event.

Due to the mountainous terrain, late-November mornings and evenings in Yongding have a large temperature swing, so it's a good idea to bring an outer layer.
