U-Bahn Rathaus Reinickendorf (U8)
Start/finish is directly at Rathaus Reinickendorf (town hall), Eichborndamm 215, 13437 Berlin. The U8 U-Bahn station 'Rathaus Reinickendorf' is immediately adjacent to the venue; bus lines X33, 220, 221 and 322 also stop there.

Course is a ~5.27km loop toward Borsigwalde run repeatedly, starting and finishing at Rathaus Reinickendorf.
Not needed — direct U-Bahn access at the venue.
BVG ticket / rechargeable BVG card
Not accepted at the gates — get the local card above Alternative: WelcomeCard / CityTourCard (zone AB, 48h–6 days) — Worth it if you're also visiting paid attractions (includes discounts)
Berlin transit gates do NOT accept generic contactless bank card tap for a ride (unlike London/Boston). Buses are cashless -- contactless card or pre-bought ticket required, no cash.
Digital single/day tickets can be bought via BVG app with card/Apple Pay/Google Pay/PayPal. Tourist option: WelcomeCard / CityTourCard (48h-6 days, zone AB or ABC).
Berlin's transit uses zone-based paper or app tickets (AB zone single about 3.20 euro) sold at U-Bahn/S-Bahn station machines, kiosks, or the BVG app. Contactless bank cards can now be tapped directly on many BVG buses and some U-Bahn gates, an alternative to buying a ticket.
Tourists can also buy a Berlin WelcomeCard for unlimited AB-zone travel plus discounts.

The start and finish are in front of Reinickendorf Town Hall (Rathaus Reinickendorf),
and half marathon course consists of four laps of an approximately 5.27 km loop running to and from the Borsigwalde district.
The race-day schedule begins with Kids Run (0.7 km and 1.4 km) at 8:45, followed by half marathon and the relay at 9:30, and the 5 km and 10 km events at 9:40.
Registration is available until September 2.
After that, on-site registration is possible only at the bib collection point from 12:00 to 16:00 on Saturday, September 5, for an additional fee of 20 euros.
