Following the series’ usual practice, bib is distributed on-site from 30 minutes to 10 minutes before the start, and there is no race-day registration.

Getting to the start

Athens Transit (fare-free) — stops near 'River Mill' (NB/SB) and Oak St/Poplar St, close to the greenway

Start/finish: North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead, N Oconee Access Rd, Athens, GA 30605 (3.11-mile out-and-back course along the greenway). Athens Transit (ACC Transit, entirely fare-free) has multiple routes (1, 2, 3, 25, 27, RH, NS) serving the general greenway/downtown area, with nearby stops including 'River Mill' northbound/southbound and Oak St at Poplar St.

Transit card

Athens, GA has a small local bus system (Athens Transit) but no widely used IC card for visitors; fares are paid in cash on board. This race is best reached by car or ride-share, especially for early race-morning starts before local buses run.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

The 2026 race takes place on October 10.

All four events start at 8:00 AM local time, and registration closes at 8:00 AM on race day.

Aid stations are provided only at the finish area at the end of each lap and at the final finish.

The organizers advise runners to prepare for the weather and bring any supplies they may need between laps.

No on-site medical staff are present.

There are generally one or two race staff members on site, and runners who need assistance are instructed to notify them.

Entry fee costs $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, $65 for the 13.1-mile event, and $95 for the 26.2-mile event.

Participants aged 1 to 15 pay $5 regardless of the event.
