The 2026 event has the Pixar 5K and Duffy and Friends 3K on Saturday, November 28, and the Zootopia 10K and Frozen 3K on Sunday, November 29.
On the 28th, the competitive 5K starts at 6:10 a.m. and the fun category at 6:50, while the Duffy 3K goes in three waves at 7:30, 8:10 and 8:50.
The time limit is 1 hour 30 minutes for the 5K and 1 hour for the 3K.
The 5K and 10K are open to ages 16 and over and the 3K to ages 3 and over, and children aged 12 and under must run with a guardian aged 18 or over.
General registration closed at 11:59 p.m. on September 27.
The race packet, with a themed T-shirt, bib, bib clips and an event-exclusive wristband,
must be collected before the event at the redemption point inside the resort.
With the early-morning starts, participants travel by MTR or special buses.
The special buses are only for 5K and 10K participants who buy tickets in advance,
cost HK$60, and leave from various pickup points around the city at around 4:25–4:40 a.m.
Finish within the time limit and you receive the finisher medal for your category,
and the organizers promote heading into the park afterward to enjoy the winter Christmas events.
Hong Kong in November averages a low of 19.8°C and a high of 25.8°C, cool in the early morning, with around 6 wet days.
If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 or higher, or a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force at 3 a.m. on race day, the event is canceled.
