This is a half marathon organized by the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) in Gödöllő.

Runners start at the university sports hall and cross the finish in the gardens of Gödöllő Palace.

The event offers a full 21 km course and a shortened course, connecting the university campus and palace in a race created by the university.

The course starts at the Gödöllő university sports hall and crosses the finish in the palace gardens.

Its predecessor, the 1st edition (September 2025), started at the Szent István Campus and finished on Ady Endre Promenade in front of Gödöllő Palace.

It offered both the standard 21 km course and the 5.1 km shorter course.

Getting to the start

Gödöllő railway station (MÁV, Budapest–Hatvan line)

Start is at the MATE (Hungarian University of Agriculture) sports hall, Páter Károly utca 1, Gödöllő, approximately a 5-minute walk from Gödöllő's mainline railway station.

Getting to the finish

HÉV H8 suburban rail stop 'Gödöllő, Szabadság tér'

Finish is in the park of the Royal Palace (Gödöllői Kastély); the HÉV H8 line from Budapest's Örs vezér tere stops at 'Gödöllő, Szabadság tér,' from which the palace is directly visible.

Godollo is reachable from Budapest via the HEV suburban railway (line H8), which accepts standard BKK Budapest transit tickets and passes bought at station vending machines or the BudapestGO app. There is no dedicated tap-card system for foreign visitors; single paper tickets or the BudapestGO mobile app are the simplest options.
