Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.

From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“I ended up crossing the finish line in 28:33:01 and I could not be more proud of my performance, especially with my battered legs.”At Indiana Trail 100, the runner endured tired legs from consecutive 100-mile races and knee pain. Breaking the final lap into small sections helped them finish in 28 hours 33 minutes 1 second.
“Everything went perfectly, including the weather.”Joe Randene experienced leg pain after 70 miles at the Indiana Trail 100, but completed his second 100-mile finish within the time limit.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.

Run 2 laps for 50 miles, 4 laps for 100 miles, and 6 laps for 150 miles on Chain O' Lakes State Park's 25-mile loop course.
The Indiana Trail 100 is an ultra trail race held at Chain O Lakes State Park in Albion, Indiana, USA.
It is a non-profit event run by ultra runners, with net proceeds going back to the park providing course.
The organizers explain that there are many ultra runners among the volunteers supporting the participants.
It is a competition that connects people running long distances with activities that maintain the park.
Course is a structure that repeats a 25-mile park loop.
50 miles covers two laps, 100 miles covers four laps, and the newly added 150 miles covers the same loop six times.
Rather than traveling to distant finals, participants return to the same park over and over again.
The number of repetitions increases depending on the event, so meeting the same path again is a basic condition of the race.
The topography of Chain O Lakes was formed by the action of glaciers.
The park management agency describes the region as featuring interconnected lakes, rolling hills with forests, wetlands and valleys.
This forest path in the lake area forms the background for the competition.
The Ignite Trail Series was started by local runners as a way to give back to the parks they used to run in,
using the profits to purchase trail maintenance equipment and add new trails.
Part of the series is the Indiana Trail 100, a long-distance event that organizers present as a Western States qualifying event.
