Gyeongju Citizens' Stadium, 30 Hwangseong Park-ro, Hwangseong-dong, Gyeongju
2026 Infinite Challenge Run in Gyeongju starts at Gyeongju Citizens' Stadium, with new 10km and half-marathon (~21km) courses passing Donggung Palace/Wolji Pond, Cheomseongdae, Gyochon Village, and Daereungwon before returning to the stadium. No subway in Gyeongju; nearest bus stop is 'Gyerim Middle School' on Yongdam-ro, about 200m walk, served by local bus routes 200, 210, 216, 222, 230, 231, 234, 273, 276, 300, 300-1, 300-2, 301, 306, 31, 41, 61 (route 210 also passes both Gyeongju express and intercity bus terminals).
Gyeongju Citizens' Stadium (same as start)
Same venue as start (loop course returns to stadium).
Gyeongju has no subway; the nearest major rail hub is Singyeongju KTX Station, and the historic city relies on local buses and taxis. A T-money card, sold at convenience stores, works on Gyeongju city buses and taxis just as in Seoul, with a bus ride costing around 1,500 KRW.
Renting a car or using KTX plus a taxi is common for visitors reaching the venue.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
September is cool in the morning and hot in the sun during the day.
Bring a light layer to shed before the start, plus a hat.
Since this race has half marathon, run the first 5 km more conservatively than your target, and the key is holding pace after 15 km.
The whole city of Gyeongju is a heritage site.
Bulguksa Temple, Cheomseongdae and the Daereungwon area are great to explore.
Times are local to Gyeongju. Check the latest official information before the race.
