“Needless to say I was over the moon with this and I am making further progress which is awesome.”The runner started the Jersey Marathon confident in their training and ran the first half at a pace that put a sub-3-hour finish within reach. They faded from mile 16 but finished in 3 hours 12 minutes 56 seconds, taking 5 minutes off their personal best and enjoying the progress.
“I had a lot of fun running this race!”Foot pain and late fatigue troubled the runner at the Jersey Marathon, but fellow runners and local supporters gave encouragement. Enjoying sea views and green country lanes, the runner finished in 4 hours 6 minutes and substantially improved the personal best.

The Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon is an event that runs on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands in the English Channel.
It is operated as course, starting from St. Helier, the island's central city, connecting the road with the village to the west, and then returning to the city.
The section passes through Waterworks Valley, Saint-Ouen and Les Cannesbes, while the southern loop section passes through Corbières.
Instead of just driving through the city center of one city, it connects various regions of the island, allowing you to experience a wide range of Jersey.
Full marathon Individual competitions, relays, and short distance events that families and children can enjoy together will be held.
A relay is a method in which team members run sections of different lengths,
so you can experience the same course as an individual long run and a joint challenge with colleagues.
Corporate teams also participate, and athletes competing for personal records and those running for friends and family gather at the same event.
The organizers introduce professional game management and a friendly atmosphere as a combination of features.
The competition is also deeply connected to the support of the island residents.
Course Local people who greet the runners and spectators waiting for the finals participate in the island's running event.
The scene continues with a participant from overseas running with a local runner, and the team members completing their respective sections.
Charitable fundraising is also one of the purposes of the competition,
and we support local organizations and Futuremakers activities that help the next generation learn and engage in economic activities.
Full marathon connecting the islands, team relays, residents’ support, and charity participation create the character of the Jersey Marathon.
