The city you want to run becomes your next trip.

THE DREAM
This half marathon combines Keelung’s harbor, downtown, mountains, and sea in a single course.
Starting at Guomen Square, the route passes through Zhongshan Tunnel, continues to Dawulun Beach, and then returns.
Alongside the 21K, there are 9K leisure and 3K family categories.
A distinctive feature is the separate sustainability category in addition to the general categories.
Picture the course in advance

Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“When it was time, the Sweep Vehicle set off, and I watched the sea in air-conditioned comfort.”
At the Keelung City half marathon, the runner walked up the steep climb at Xiehe Power Plant, then kept walking because of discomfort in the right big-toe joint. At the turnaround point aid station, the runner waited for the Sweep Vehicle and withdrew, then returned to the finish to greet a teammate who completed the race.

Pick up your bib, check your wave.
So on race morning, you can just run.
🔴 There is no on-site registration on race day, so you must collect your race materials in advance; failure to collect them automatically forfeits your eligibility to start.
A souvenir mailing option is available (200 TWD cash on delivery, with the timing chip enclosed for return), and the chip deposit can be exchanged for a 7-second laser engraving service.
Check the official announcement for the collection date, time, and location.
基隆火車站 (Keelung TRA Station) — race start is at 基隆國門廣場 (Keelung Gateway Plaza), immediately adjacent to Keelung Station
Per news coverage (not from official site), Taiwan Railway (TRA) is adding a special early-morning local train, service #1408, running from Shulin through Taipei, Songshan, Nankang, Xizhi and Qidu, arriving Keelung Station at 4:55am for participants. Special early TRA train info is from news coverage, not the official race charter site, and is labeled accordingly.
Finish is at the same 基隆國門廣場 plaza per race branding; no separate finish transit detail found.
Keelung has no MRT of its own but is fully covered by Taiwan's EasyCard for city and intercity buses; buy/top up the card at any 7-Eleven or FamilyMart, or at Keelung/Taipei train stations. Most runners will arrive via train from Taipei (about 30-40 minutes), where EasyCard also works on the Taipei MRT for connections.
No contactless bank card tap-to-pay exists for Taiwan transit yet, so the EasyCard is the practical option.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Your race materials and bib will be sent by post, and there is no race-day on-site registration.
If you are travelling from overseas, choose a delivery address where you can actually receive the package and confirm receipt before the delivery period ends.
Once it arrives, immediately check the event you entered and the bib details, and report any errors to customer support.
If you lose bib or your timing chip, replacements will not be issued, so pack them with you when you travel abroad.
You can reach the area around the venue from Keelung Station by train.
The organisers have provided separate information about an early-morning special train for participants,
so check whether your departure station is on the list of stops.
Baggage storage arrangements vary by event and are not provided for family events.
To collect stored belongings, you must show bib, so keep bib safe even after you finish.
After the finish, follow the order of finisher medal, souvenirs and chip return;
the souvenir collection mark will be recorded on bib.
The roads are not fully closed;
traffic is controlled according to conditions on the day.
Run in the designated safety areas and follow instructions from the police and traffic volunteers.
Times are local to Keelung. Check the latest official information before the race.
