A day you'll remember,
long past the finish line.

Most of the course is non-technical dirt singletrack.

Being natural terrain, there are rocks and tree roots, and a few sections with boulders, but it's runnable even for runners new to trails.

“So I walked until the last mile or so and the adrenaline of finishing my first 50k got me through the finish line while running.”

At Lake Yahou 50km, leg pain and cramps on descents forced the runner to walk much of the second half. They ran the final roughly 1 mile to finish their first 50km in 7 hours 40 minutes 26 seconds.

We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.
