Out-and-back so start and finish are the same location. Nearest airport: Glacier Park International (FCA), Kalispell.

Extremely remote area near the North Fork of Glacier National Park; renting a car in Kalispell or Whitefish is effectively mandatory.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

Course starts at the Glacier Institute's Big Creek Outdoor Education Center, runs 25 miles north along the North Fork River,

passes the Polebridge Mercantile aid station, and turns back just short of the North Fork Community Hall near Whale Creek, making it an out-and-back course.

Cumulative elevation gain over the full 50 miles is about 2,400 feet, mostly gentle gravel road.

Participants slower than a 12-hour pace must be accompanied by a personal crew, and finishing later than that without a crew results in disqualification.

Times are local to Polebridge. Check the latest official information before the race.
