THE DREAM
This half marathon starts on the Lianyungang coast, crosses the Xidadi breakwater, and circles Lian Island (Liandao).
The field is half marathon 7,000 runners and Fun Run 3,000 runners.
It is a rare coastal course in China, crossing the sea via a breakwater before circling an island.

The BIB collection information for Lianyungang Liandao half marathon has not yet been announced (check the official WeChat announcement).
The start is at Zaihai Yifang Park (Haitang Fuyue Square) on Lianyungang Liandao. According to the city transport guide on the official page: Lianyungang Huaguoshan Airport has connections to cities nationwide; Lianyungang Railway Station and Lianyungang East Railway Station are connected to the high-speed rail network; the city has no metro, relying mainly on BRT rapid buses and multiple regular bus routes to serve the scenic areas.
Start/finish and city transport information are stated directly from the official race page. No information conflicting with the database date (2026-10-25) was found, but the race is still some time away and detailed shuttle information may not yet have been announced.
From Lianyungang Huaguoshan Airport or Lianyungang / Lianyungang East high-speed rail stations, take the BRT or a city bus (there is no metro).
The finish is at the Liandao Scenic Area Visitor Center.
No subway, BRT and bus lines connect major tourist destinations
The official website does not mention any specific shuttle bus service or metro arrangements. Detailed race-day transport and shuttle plans are expected to be published through the official WeChat account along with the Race Regulations and Registration Information.
No specific details had been obtained at the time of checking.
Lianyungang/Liandao has no metro system; city buses are typically paid via a local electronic transit card, searchable and activated inside the Alipay app for QR-code tap payment, or by cash onboard. Dedicated physical IC card purchase for short-term tourists is not common, so ride-hailing apps like Didi are often more practical for foreign visitors reaching Liandao.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
Registration opens on a first-come, first-served basis in early August each year and closes when capacity is reached, with no separate lottery.
Much of course follows coastal roads and island attractions, so runners may be affected by sea winds.
The field consists of half marathon 7,000 runners plus 3,000 Fun Run runners over approximately 6.5km, for a total of 10,000.
Times are local to Lianyungang. Check the latest official information before the race.
