Getting to the start

Long Hunter State Park, 2910 Hobson Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076 — start/finish in an open field near Couchville Lake. No public transit stop confirmed at the park itself.

Official ultrasignup page confirms start/finish location and address. Per general web search (not official), WeGo Public Transit route 55 serves the general Hermitage/Nashville-outskirts area, but no specific stop at the park entrance was confirmed — treat as car-access-only for practical purposes.

Long Hunter State Park in Hermitage, TN is outside Nashville's WeGo Public Transit bus coverage; WeGo uses a reloadable QuickTicket card and now accepts contactless bank cards on buses within the city. This is effectively a car-access venue, so a rental car or rideshare is needed to reach the park.
