Getting to the start

Stralsund Hauptbahnhof

Start/finish area is the 'Mahnkesche Wiese' beside the Rügenbrücke in Stralsund, a few minutes' walk from Stralsund Hauptbahnhof.

Rügenbrücke closed to traffic from 9:00 for the race.

Note: the start/finish is in Stralsund, ~40 km from Sellin on Rügen.

Date confirmed 10 October 2026.

A separate 6 km race starts on the Rügen side near Bahnhof Altefähr and crosses into Stralsund.

The events are divided into full marathon·half marathon·10km·6km running, 10km·6km walking, and 3km Kids Run.

The starting and finishing points are Mahnkesche Wiese next to Rügenbrücke, and vehicles are detoured to old Rügendamm during the competition.
