Buy the green Metrolínea card at a neighborhood store or official point of sale (about COP 3,000) and load it with cash — a foreign-issued contactless bank card will not tap directly on the readers.

Getting to the start

Parque Gabriel Turbay (Metrolinea/SITM stop at Kr 27 - Cl 50), directly adjacent to the start/finish zone on Carrera 27 between Calles 50-51

Confirmed fcv.org (Fundacion Cardiovascular de Colombia) IS the genuine organizer -- 23rd edition in 2026.

Per prior (Oct 2025) edition: road closures begin the NIGHT BEFORE -- Carrera 27 closes 9:00 PM Saturday;

full closure 5:00 AM-1:00 PM Sunday.

Vehicle/taxi drop-off near Parque Turbay impossible once closures start -- walk in, or use a Metrolinea stop on Carrera 33/36 (outside closure perimeter).

Getting to the finish

Same as start -- Parque Turbay, Carrera 27 (loop/circular course)

Cordon stays sealed until ~1:00 PM Sunday per prior edition -- post-race taxi/rideshare pickup directly outside the park unlikely;

walk out a few blocks to Carrera 33/36 or an outside-cordon Metrolinea stop.

More details

2026 date confirmed (Oct 18, 'returns to the traditional third Sunday of October date').

2026 route was adjusted (recreational distance 5K->6K, course reroute avoiding several streets) but start/finish at Parque Turbay remains confirmed for 2026.

Detailed 2026 closure bulletin not yet published -- timing above is per prior (Oct 2025) edition: 21K start 6:30 AM, 10.5K 7:45 AM.

More details

No dedicated official race shuttle -- Metrolinea (BRT) implements temporary detours/suspensions instead: per prior edition,

feeder route AB1 suspended 7:00 AM-noon, route P10 detoured.

IC card

Tarjeta Metrolínea ('tarjeta verde' / green card)

Neighborhood stores ('tiendas de barrio'), Campollo and Apuestas La Perla outlets,

Metrolínea's 21 official recharge points around the city, and recharge machines at stations

More details

Fare is COP 3,000 for short routes and COP 3,600 for long routes (2026).

No open-loop EMV contactless support for foreign Visa/Mastercard has been reported here.

A Bancolombia-issued debit card can be converted at a bank branch to double as a transit pass,

but this requires a Bancolombia account, so it's not practical for a visiting foreigner.

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.

Bib It is best to receive participant items through the Expovida event held at Salon Mega in Neomundo.

Since it is run in conjunction with the health and wellness fair, it is best to first find the runner collection area at the entrance of the event venue.

The official rules require you to bring your own ID, and proxy pickup requires written authorization and a copy of the participant's ID.

Please make sure to book your visit in advance as we will not be distributing kits on match days or after the event.

Water supply locations are indicated at major points such as Turbai Park, Plaza Mayor, La Novena Bridge, and near the home center.

The path you take will vary depending on the distance event, so check the meeting point in your course.

Turbai Park is also marked as a watering point in the arrivals area.

If you are planning both flights and accommodations, you can check out products from Rumbos, the official travel agency.

Since the information includes round-trip transportation between the airport and the hotel,

it is a good idea to check the departure and arrival points of the service when choosing accommodation.

Packet Pickup It is a good idea to write down the location and game gathering location separately in your schedule.
