The course departs from Boulevard Ávila Camacho near Hotel Costa Verde, follows the coastal road passing Hotel Mar y Tierra and PEMEX Tower,

then turns onto Insurgentes Veracruzanos and makes a U-turn near the Mercado de Artesanías market before returning along Boulevard Ávila Camacho via Reyes Heroles and Mar del Norte streets,

finishing with a lap on the athletics track at the Facultad de Educación Física.

Getting to the start

no metro/rail in Veracruz — Blvd. Manuel Ávila Camacho at Hotel Costa Verde (Boca del Río/Veracruz coastal boulevard); urban bus lines AZULES, BOCA DEL RÍO-PETROLERA, RUTA DEL CAMBIO, SAETA run along this boulevard

Any of these bus lines dropped along Ávila Camacho puts you within a short walk of the start.

Getting to the finish

athletics track, Facultad de Educación Física, Deporte y Recreación, Universidad Veracruzana — Mar del Norte s/n, Fraccionamiento Costa Verde, Boca del Río

Course finishes with a lap inside the UV track, reached via Reyes Heroles and Mar del Norte streets off Ávila Camacho.
