we have decided not to hold the 2026 Mid-South Races for Hope.' Organizers cited declining participation since COVID-19 and community recovery from a March 2023 tornado.
The 2026 edition is CANCELLED.
Same location — Wynne Baptist Church.
Marathon/Half-Marathon run 8:00 AM-3:00 PM CST window;
5K runs 8:15-10:15 AM CST.
No shuttle service found (moot given cancellation below).
No dedicated transit card system;
Wynne is a small rural Arkansas town with no public transit, so car access applies.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
Know them ahead and the run feels easier.
The start and finish are at Wynne Baptist Church.
The Marathon, half marathon, and 5K all follow an out-and-back course,
passing through part of the historic district and continuing along ridge roads between fields awaiting harvest.
The race is a certified course, making it a Boston Marathon qualifying event.
Aid station and portable toilets are placed approximately one mile apart.
Registration is handled through RunSignUp.
