Getting to the start

No train station; nearest public transit is the Indian Trails intercity bus stop at the US-41 BP Station in Gladstone, MI

Start/finish is at the waterfront Terrace Bay Hotel in downtown Gladstone.

No local transit route or shuttle to the venue was found;

the intercity bus stop is on US-41 in town, a short drive/walk from the lakefront start area.

Small rural lakeside town (Delta County, Upper Peninsula Michigan) with no rail service;

only intercity bus (Indian Trails) serves the area.

Getting to the finish

READY TO RUN

From race morning to after the finish.

MISH Waterfront Marathon starts at the Terrace Bay Hotel in Gladstone, Michigan, and runs the Marathon, half marathon, and 10K together.

Start times are 7:00 a.m. for the marathon, 8:00 a.m. for half marathon, and 8:05 a.m. for the 10K, with the official timing cutoff at 6 hours.

Course runs along the shore of Little Bay de Noc (on Lake Michigan),

with the 10K turning back at Van Cleve Park while the other events continue further, into the section north of Gladstone.

Course is also USATF-certified, making it a Boston Marathon qualifier.

Seven aid station are set up about every 2 miles, providing water and Powerade.

Packet pickup is available both the day before, Friday, and on race day, at the Terrace Bay Hotel.

Finishers receive a T-shirt and finisher medal, Upper Peninsula craft beer, and a breakfast burrito, among other items.
