Centered on Pat Sin Leng Country Park and Lam Tsuen Country Park in the northern New Territories,

it passes old trails, steep technical sections, and reservoirs.

It is a loop course that makes a large circuit around the ridgelines of Tai Po.

Getting to the start

Ma On Shan Station (MTR)

Start/finish at Tai Po Head Shui Wei Village (大埔頭水圍村), Ma On Shan Country Park area. Take MTR to Ma On Shan Station, or bus/minibus to Ma On Shan Hang On or Yiu On Estate, then walk ~3km uphill (~30 min) along Leung You Road to the venue.

Alternatively, green minibus directly from Ma On Shan town centre to the country park entrance. City = Hong Kong (香港), specifically Tai Po/Ma On Shan area, New Territories.

Organizer paid shuttle bus (HK$40) from Admiralty (MTR Exit A), Mong Kok (Shanghai Street), and Yuen Long (Long Ming Street) to the venue — verify pickup times for the Nov 2026 date.

越嶺系列賽大埔站 is held over two days, November 7–8, 2026, with four categories —

7.5km, 21km, 31.5km, and 43.5km — where participants can choose between individual or two-person team entry.

The event venue is Pat Sin Leng and Lam Tsuen Country Parks in the northern New Territories of Hong Kong,

passing old hiking trails, ancient paths, and reservoir sections.

The 31.5km category starts and finishes at Shui Wai Tsuen, Tai Po Tau,

at 9:00 AM on November 8, with cumulative ascent and descent of about 1,500m each, and a time limit of 8 hours.
