This full and half marathon marathon follows the Yellow River waterfront in Wuzhong, Ningxia.

Starting at Liangguan Convention Center, it runs out and back along Binhe Avenue,

passing riverside landmarks including Crescent Moon Square, the Yellow River Bridge, and Yellow River Tower.

A total of 16,000 runners line up for this flat, open riverside course, the signature race of the Yellow River’s “Golden Shore.”

The full marathon starts at the Liangguan Yizhongxin (Two Halls, One Center) in Wuzhong,

passes Kaiyuan Avenue, Litong North Street, Mingzhu West Road, Lining North Street,

and Shufang Road, enters Binhe Avenue, makes two round trips along the Binhe Avenue section,

then returns to Liangguan Yizhongxin via the Yellow River connector and Kaiyuan Avenue.

The course is mostly concentrated along Binhe Avenue on the bank of the Yellow River,

passing riverside landmarks such as Xinyue Square, Binhe Sports Park, the Yellow River Bridge, and Huanghe Lou.

Overall, there are many flat, open sections, with ups and downs only near the Yellow River Bridge, which is an out-and-back segment.
