Getting to the start

8631 Pine Creek Road, Pine Valley, CA 91962 (Noble Canyon Trailhead)

No public transit; car access only, rural trailhead. Official course description warns the first mile is on a road with blind turns — use caution for approaching cars.

Location and road-caution notes stated plainly per official site (noblecanyon50k.com). Course crosses highways twice; crossing marshals are present but do not stop traffic, so runners must yield.

No dedicated transit card system; Noble Canyon 50K/15K starts in the Cleveland National Forest near Pine Valley, CA, about an hour east of San Diego with no relevant public transit reaching the trailhead. San Diego's own transit uses the PRONTO card/app, but that's irrelevant this far out - plan on driving or a rideshare from San Diego.

The Noble Canyon 50K and 15K are course on the Noble Canyon trail system, featuring rocky climbs, exposed ridge sections, and fast-flowing descents.

With its substantial elevation gain, the 50K requires preparation for a mountain ultra.

The 50K starts at 6:30am (briefing at 6:15am), and the 15K at 7:30am (briefing at 7:15am).

The time limit time limits are 9 hours 35 minutes and 3 hours, respectively.
