413 Railroad Terrace, Bronx, NY 10471 — parking lot at the Riverdale station on the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line
This is the one race in this set with genuine public transit access: the start is at the Riverdale Metro-North (Hudson Line) station parking lot, so runners/spectators can arrive by commuter train from Manhattan (Grand Central). Unsanctioned, self-supported urban stair-climbing ultra through NYC streets/parks — no road closures or official course marshals expected.
Same general area as the start (Riverdale); post-race gathering held at Broadstone Bar and Kitchen nearby
Course loops back through 4 boroughs, 16 parks, 90 stair sets, and 6 bridges before returning to the Riverdale area; no separate stated finish venue.
None — race is described on the official page as 'unsanctioned and largely self-supported.'
This race is in the Bronx, NYC, which uses OMNY, a tap-to-pay system that accepts contactless bank cards and phones directly at subway turnstiles and on buses (no need to buy a dedicated card), alongside the legacy MetroCard being phased out. Standard subway/bus fare is $2.90 per ride; OMNY cards and MetroCards can also be bought/reloaded at station vending machines.
Your start time, fuel and bag drop.
