Getting to the start

Laurel Hill County Park, 1400 North Hwy 41, Mount Pleasant, SC (use this address for GPS; do not enter from Park West)

No public transit; car access only. Gate opens 5:45am race day.

Charleston County Parks and Recreation volunteers direct parking; a police officer directs traffic Saturday morning due to limited parking (500+ participants expected, carpooling encouraged). Official site (peytonsrace.

No dogs on trail; cupless aid stations.

Peyton's Wild & Wacky 10x5K takes place on the Laurel Hill Trail in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with online registration through UltraSignup.

As the name suggests, participants run a 5K ten times, starting on the hour each time.

Runners can complete the full 50K solo or enter as a relay team of 2–5 people and split the segments.

Based on the previous year, the race started at 8:00 a.m.

All proceeds are donated to organizations Peyton supported during his lifetime: the Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund,

the Mount Pleasant Track Club, and Mount Pleasant Academy.

The event is also known for offering food from a local barbecue company and live music.
