Getting to the start

Marathon starts in downtown Caseville, MI (Dock Dr.); Half Marathon starts at Sleeper State Park; 5K starts in downtown Port Austin, MI

Point-to-point course for marathon/half; no train/transit station nearby — rural Michigan 'Thumb' region, car access only. Rural coastal Michigan — no public transit.

All distances finish along Main St. in Port Austin at the Welcome Center.

Start shuttle

Official race site lists a pre-race shuttle from Port Austin to the Caseville and Sleeper State Park start points for marathon/half marathon runners; no post-race shuttle back to start points.

Transit card

No dedicated transit card system; Port Austin, MI (Michigan's Thumb) is a rural car-access venue with no nearby transit line. Cash/card accepted for parking or local purchases.

Course starts in downtown Caseville and heads east along the Saginaw Bay (Lake Huron),

passing through Port Crescent State Park before finish on Main Street in Port Austin.

It is a one-way course on fully paved roads and is known as a USATF-certified course that counts as a Boston Marathon qualifying race.

Because of road-control restrictions, the time limit for time limit is six hours.
