The city you want to run becomes your next trip.
THE DREAM
The race is held on Saturday, February 6, 2027.
It is known as a course well suited both for runners chasing a 100-mile personal best and for those attempting their first ultra.
Aid stations run closely spaced around the clock, and time limit is generous.
Picture the course in advance
and find the pace that fits you.
Streets lined with cheers, runners all around.
You'll be part of that scene.
Take it slow with the finish still in you,
and meet the city all over again.
From the joy of finishing to the tough moments — read what runners wrote themselves.
“We finished the Rocky Raccoon, arm-in-arm, with three minutes and 43 seconds to spare before exceeding what became our shared goal.”At Rocky Raccoon 100 miles, the runner managed their pace with friends, walking climbs and running pine-covered descents. Friends' encouragement carried them through late pain and fading focus to finish together in 23 hours 56 minutes 17 seconds.
“Seeing so many people on course with the loop format was a real highlight of the race.”At Rocky Raccoon 100, the runner struggled with stomach trouble and low energy, then restored their pace with food and electrolytes. They ran to the end and finished third in 16 hours 44 minutes.
We translated a short line from each public race report and summarized the experience. Finish times are as stated by the author, and past editions may differ from this year's weather and operations.

The race is held at Huntsville State Park, Texas, featuring two long-distance events — 100 miles and 100km — alongside a 1-mile race for young runners.
Besides the start/finish, 14 aid station operate through the night, and the food and drink offerings are well regarded,
making this a popular race for runners attempting their first 100-mile finish.
Time limit is set relatively generously —
24 hours to reach the 80-mile point and 30 hours for the full finish,
with the Sunday final lap time limit at 7:41 AM and the final time limit when course fully closes at 2:00 PM.
Because of space constraints at Huntsville State Park, overall participation is capped and often fills early;
based on the previous year, registering by January 5 was required to guarantee a commemorative T-shirt size.
Times are local to Huntsville. Check the latest official information before the race.
