It starts at PalaEUR in Rome and finishes at Piazza Cristoforo Colombo in Ostia.

Course starts in Rome’s EUR district and follows Via Cristoforo Colombo all the way to the coast at Ostia.

The climb through the Camping section is considered a defining feature of course, followed by a descent before passing through finish along the coast.

Pick up your bib at the expo

You need your confirmation letter (printed or on a mobile device) and identification to collect your bib.
Foreign runners not registered with FIDAL and RunCard runners must upload and bring valid race medical documentation in advance.
Someone else may collect your bib if they bring a signed authorization letter, a copy of the runner's ID and their own ID.
Bib pickup on race day (Sunday) is strictly not allowed.

Getting to the start

EUR Fermi (Metro Linea B)

Take Metro Line B (Laurentina direction, first train 5:30) to EUR Fermi station, then walk across the bridge over Laghetto dell'EUR (~800m) to Pala EUR. Do NOT get off at Eur Palasport station -- road to start closed to pedestrians from 8:00 AM.

Road closures near start begin ~4:00 AM Sunday on via Cristoforo Colombo (Ostia direction) between viale Europa and viale dell'Oceano Pacifico; closes to general traffic from 3:00 AM in start-area stretch. At finish end, via Cristoforo Colombo passable by car until 7:00 AM, then closed -- reach Ostia via Via Ostiense.

Bus lines diverted from 7:30 AM, progressive reopening from ~11:30 AM. Specific dates/times on the info page appear carried over from a past edition -- exact clock times should be reverified closer to 2027-02-28 event.

Getting to the finish

Cristoforo Colombo (Roma-Lido line)

Finish on Piazzale Cristoforo Colombo in Ostia, by the sea. Cristoforo Colombo stop on Roma-Lido train line ~200-400m from finish, trains every 15 min.

To return toward start, get off at Magliana station and take Metro Line B toward EUR.

Start shuttle

Official shuttle buses with hostess on board only for participants staying at partner hotels, departing/returning to those hotels. No general public shuttle.

Alternative: Roma 24H/48H/72H tourist ticket €8.50 / €15.00 / €22.00 — Worth buying only if you expect to take more rides than the Tap&Go daily cap already covers (the cap is €8.50, same as the 24H ticket). Tap&Go's 24-hour cap is €8.50, matching the tourist day ticket, so contactless is usually the simplest and cheapest option for short visits — one card per traveler is required.

A single BIT ticket (100 minutes) costs €1.50.
