Getting to the start

No public transit; mandatory race-provided shuttle bus only

Self-transportation to the start is explicitly prohibited by the race. Marathon shuttle loads 4:00-4:30 AM from Parkview Elementary School; Half Marathon shuttle loads 4:30-5:30 AM from Memorial Park SW corner; 10K shuttle loads 5:45-6:15 AM from Memorial Park SW corner.

5K starts at Memorial Park with no shuttle needed. Small-town Utah venue, car/shuttle access only, no public transit.

Mandatory race shuttle buses for Marathon/Half/10K from designated loading points to the start; no public transit exists to the venue.

IC card

Payson, Utah and the Nebo Loop area have no public transit card system; this is a rural mountain venue reached by car. Visitors should plan on a rental car, with cash or card available for any parking or toll needs along the route.

Course follows the Mt. Nebo Loop and features 4,561 feet (approximately 1,390 m) of elevation loss over the full marathon distance.

The final 16 miles are entirely downhill,

making quad management the key challenge rather than pacing pace—a course where managing the strain on your quadriceps is crucial.

In the 2025 race, 16.1% of finishers met the Boston Marathon qualifying standard;

in 2024, the figure was 18.6%.
